Is a used Volvo S60 a reliable car - Reddit
An independent shop specializing in Volvos or dealer ofc, because mechanics who haven't worked many Volvos won't know about specific issues with Volvos or lack special Volvo tools required for some uncommon services. (Or regular mechanics lack the Volvo maintenance software required to work on the car's computerized systems)

Extended 10 year CPO warranty : r/Volvo - Reddit
We just purchased our first Volvo - 2021 CPO XC90 T8 Inscription. Very excited. We pick it up this week - its $53k with 11,000 miles. I got the 10 year unlimited CPO extension down to $4500ish. Is it worth it? I feel like it absolutely is. Years 5-10 of the cars life is when things will likely fail.

Anyone experienced with OrBit? : r/Volvo - Reddit
The comfort access is a problem for android cars yeah, Volvo dropped the setting from the AAOS interface, but the hardware still supports it, the CEM will store the settings and the seat module will work…but you can’t turn it on. The sensus has a menu that appears after you enable in config, where you check a box to turn it on.

Are all Volvo xc90's really safe? What about them makes them ... - Reddit
Volvo makes up their own crash tests that go FAR beyond any standardized crash test (the front offset collision was actually adopted because Volvo realized most major injuries were caused by that rather than a direct head on collision). Volvo is pushing for crash rating agencies to move from a 5 star system to a 100 point system.

What specifically makes Volvos safer than other cars? : r/Volvo - Reddit
Volvo pioneered safety elements in cars that have been adopted by many other brands - for example Volvo was the first to sell a car with 3 point seat belts, and although they patented them they’ve allowed other manufacturers to adopt them as well. Volvo consistently does a good job of communicating the safety of their vehicles in their marketing.

What do you think of Volvo's Chinese ownership? : r/Volvo - Reddit
Volvo basically acts as an independent company from Geely. Geely used Volvo as a way to get up to speed and make better quality cars for the mass market of China. This has in no way really affected the way Volvo builds it's cars. Some are built in China, but also a lot are built in Europe and even America.

XC60 Recharge - 240V Outlet vs. Level 2 EV Charger
Volvo’s on board charger is the limiting factor. The car’s published 3.6kw speed equates to about 15 amps using 240 volts; our Chargepoint Home tracks how much it’s delivering and that’s about right for most of the charging cycle.

V60 vs V90 vs XC60? : r/Volvo - Reddit
I have a 2021 v60CC and I absolutely love it. My previous vehicle was a 2018 Tahoe with a 2” lift and 34s. When my lease was up, I was planning to do a 4runner but couldn’t make it happen. Went back to the drawing board, and figured I’d look at Volvo since my wife has a xc60. I stumbled upon the v60 and fell in love.

Whats the most reliable volvo? Or some pretty close competitors?
For something somewhat modern to be a livable daily and not suffer from age issues, without being overly complicated, a late P2 Volvo (S60/V70 until 2009/2007 respectively) might be a good choice. They aren’t the most simple and bulletproof Volvos, but all the really indestructible ones (RWD cars and to a lesser degree P80s) are getting quite ...

r/Volvo on Reddit: For Everyone Wanting Wireless Apple CarPlay…. I ...
I use the CarLinkIt 3.0 purchased off Amazon, it plugs into the USB port and stays tucked in the console. I have the Proclip mount with the MagSafe adapter, it uses the genuine Apple MagSafe puck and hold really well with a MagSafe case, charging with an Anker 12V plug in the middle row charger, the cable tucks into the console nicely so it’s almost invisible.
