I use Honda brand recommended oil and change every 4000 miles and I change both the oil filter (K&N) and the DCT filter (OEM) at each change. Lithium battery in good shape installed January 2019.

2021 NC750X Suspension Travel Question - Honda NC700 Forum
Honda reduced travel on front and rear suspension to 4.9 inches compared to 5.7 and 5.9 inches on the 2018-20 MY. They also lightened the bike about 15 pounds, shortened the wheelbase about .50 inch, rake and trail remains the same, ground clearance is a little less (probably because of suspension?). Anyhow, i am leaning toward ordering a new 2021.

Honda recommends the 2 caliper retaining bolts be replaced with new ones every time they are removed. It is a special ALOC bolt with a removable thread locker compound on the threads. The color of the removable Honda compound is red. I mentioned I will reuse these once or twice before replacing with new.
